Scientific Advisors
Acologix works with a select group of Scientific Advisors to provide
specific expertise in the areas of molecular biology, endocrinology,
osteology, nephrology and clinical medicine to support the development
of the Company's products.
Acologix collaborates with leading scientists and clinicians to
explore the mechanism of action, pharmacology, and clinical efficacies
of its product candidates.
B. Lawrence Riggs, M.D.

Dr. Riggs has held multiple positions at the Mayo Medical Foundation
including the Purvis and Roberta Tabor Professor of Medical Research
at the Mayo Medical School. Dr. Riggs is a distinguished clinical
osteologist and pioneer of drug development in bone and mineral
diseases. Dr. Riggs has led many clinical trials for a number of
widely prescribed bone therapeutics.
Toshiyuki Yoneda, D.D.S.

Professor and Head, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, University
of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio as well as Professor
and Chairman, Department of Biochemistry, Osaka University Dental
School is a pre-eminent scientist in bone and dental biology. Dr.
Yoneda is a doctor of periodontal surgery and one of the top scientists
in skeletal research, especially in the area of cancer bone metastasis.
Dr. Yoneda is the inventor of AC-100,
which is now the Company's lead compound.
Robert J. Unwin, M.R.C.P., F.R.C.P., Ph.D.

Dr. Unwin is a Professor of Nephrology & Physiology at the Royal
Free and University College Medical School (University College London).
Dr. Unwin serves as an Honorary Consultant Physician and Nephrologist
at the University College Hospitals Trust and Royal Free Hospital
Trust. Dr. Unwin is a distinguished researcher and author of numerous
academic articles and is regarded as one of the leading nephrologists
in the world. Prior to his current appointments, Dr. Unwin has taught
at prestigious universities in Europe and in the United States.
