Acologix Gives Presentation at 2007 BIO Investor Forum
HAYWARD, Calif. – October 10, 2007 – Acologix, Inc., a privately held biopharmaceutical company, today announced that Yoshi Kumagai, President and Chief Executive Officer of Acologix, Inc. presented a overview of the Company’s clinical development programs and product pipeline at the 2007 BIO Investor Forum on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. The conference was held at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco.

Acologix, Inc. a privately held biopharmaceutical company, is developing and commercializing innovative biopharmaceuticals targeting osteo-renal diseases, including chronic kidney disease, renal osteodystrophy, bone repair and regeneration, periodontal disease, general dentistry and oral care. Acologix is partnered with Toray Industries, Inc. of Japan on the development and commercialization of AC-820 (TRK-820) for the treatment of uremic pruritus in dialysis patients. Acologix is preparing for a Phase III study with this compound for uremic pruritus in the United States for 2008. AC-100 (Dentonin®), a novel small peptide with dental, periodontal and orthopedic applications, has been studied in two Phase II clinical studies; one in dental restoration procedures and another for the repair of periodontal defects. Further studies to support development in orthopedic indications are ongoing.
